Some more amazing photos from James and Emma’s wedding taken by Scottish photographers, Jay and Christina @ Elemental Weddings at their reception at LennoxLove House. Its not often that I get sent lots of photos and want to publish every single one but these are just brilliant. A lot of romance and a lot of fun! This is what makes me want to get married all over again – anyone else feeling a little bit jealous? And those flowers are by some of my favourite scottish florists, Planet Flowers, who I have featured on LMW many times. I always like…

I came across Edinburgh photographers, Jay and Christina at Elemental Photography when I first started blogging last year and fell in love with their work, so I keep a regular eye on their blog (and twitter updates) to make sure I am not missing out on any fab weddings. Had to share this one as its a goodie! Here is a selection of photos from one of their recent weddings: Emma getting ready (looking stunning in an antique fur jacket that belonged to her great grandmother and a custom-made dress), James and his ushers at the pre-wedding lunch, the marriage…

I’m always happy when I get fabulous photos in my inbox such as these from Lucy Davenport. Its the way that she photographs those special touches so beautifully that make me smile (and makes me want to include every one of her photos in this post). The style, decor and flowers at a wedding are the photos that I love to look at as these are things that give me inspiration. These photos are from the wedding of Ross and Katrina at Clearwell Castle in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire in late February (they organised their wedding in 6 weeks!!)…

A couple of weekends ago I went home to see my grandparents and to introduce Coco to her great grandmother and great grandfather. We had a photo of the 4 generations and it got me thinking about writing a post on 3 generations of weddings – 1942, 1975 (I think that is when my parents got married) and then Alex and I in 2008. There is so much talk about the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s –I feel so lucky to hear it first hand from my grandma and find out what a 1940’s wartime wedding was really like. We’re talking…

I have to tell you the truth that I’ve had these photos in ‘draft’ for ages – I so wanted to feature this gorgeous couples’ wedding but there were so many photos to chose from, that I became a bit overwhelmed. Especially as I wasn’t sure how to present them all! But now that I’m learning how to style and display photos on my blog I thought that I would give it a go. I need the practice, but more importantly I want to be able to share this happy London wedding with you… I hope these photos put a…

This weekend (Sat 19th to be precise) was our first wedding anniversary. What an amazing year, still happily married, have my lovely husband and just had our first baby Coco – I couldn’t really ask for much more. Time has flown by and seems like it was just yesterday that I was waiting for my bridesmaids to arrive outside the church (their cab never turned up and they ended up having to run all the way to the church – luckily it wasn’t snowing!). So I thought given that its such a special time for me I would post a…
