Wedding Clutch Bags from Reb Ruby Rose

spider web bridal clutch bag

Wedding clutch bags – ahh that is something that I left until the last minute (for a change) and lovely husband ended up buying me an Anya Hindmarch silver clutch bag just before my wedding. I always have a bag so why wouldn’t I want one on my Wedding Day?? These are the little things that sometimes get forgotten, but every bride wants a bag of sorts so I’m just giving you a little nudge, and showing you a few that I’ve come across from a talented british designer (and they’re much better value than my impulse purchase) I really…

Stylish Cufflinks for the Groom

scrabble cufflinks

When we were getting married I wanted to get Lovely a little pressie to give him on the actual wedding day – I thought cufflinks, but I wasn’t very organised, left it to the last minute and only found one pair in Paul Smith that I wasn’t particularly keen on. Don’t get me wrong I love Paul Smith and ended up getting him some special boxer shorts, new socks and a sexy handkerchief (incased he cried!) instead, but the cufflinks just weren’t right. I wanted something stylish, unique and original, something that he could wear on the day, and keep…

Silver and White hair fascinator by Beth Morgan

Some gorgeous hair fascinators fit for any bride designed by Beth Morgan and shot by one of my favourite photographers Archibald Photography – a great british collaboration. Sometimes I get emails in my inbox and I don’t even need to look at the content I just know that I am going to want to post about it. It seems that is always the case with Donna from Archibald Photography. Their photos are beautiful – always (well I haven’t seen a bad one yet!) – so I was over the moon to get these pictures from a recent shoot that they…

Jane Taylor Millinery – New Bridal Collection

Cosmopolitan Brides 2009 shoot

Jane Taylor is a London based milliner – a creator of bridal hats, fascinators and antique adornments. Her pieces are regularly featured in the top bridal magazines and you can see why. The vintage style headpieces are embellished with feathers, lace, gems, veiling and vintage bits and bobs. I love this picture from the December issue of Cosmo Bride which shows the model wearing one of Jane’s art deco vintage-style headpieces. The Ian Stuart dress is pretty amazing too. If you want to steal the show then this beautiful feather hairpiece will do exactly that. I remember trying to find…

My best friend is getting married in May next year and wants to wear these (I think she might be able to pull it off too).. I know everyone wants to wear something a little bit different on their feet but I wonder if this is taking a little bit too far? Saying that my husband did wear silver patent ones at ours. This picture is taken from Yatzer site where you can view the whole collection of wacky shoes designed by Andreia Chaves. What do you reckon should she just go for it? Don’t say I don’t post unique…
