Lola is now a gorgeous vintage caravan having had a bloody good makeover from Laura (who runs My Vintage Party).

I have been dying to blog about Lola ever since Laura told me about this project a while ago. Lola is now a gorgeous vintage caravan having had a bloody good makeover from Laura (who runs My Vintage Party). She’s pretty cute and I reckon would certainly be the piece de la resistance at any vintage wedding – things like this make me want to get married all over again.

Lola (I love that name – was thinking of calling Coco that) is available for media and publicity events, photo shoots, TV productions, filming and weddings. For weddings, it is to be used as a prop only (no sleeping inside it) and would make a great backdrop for a vintage style wedding. If you want Laura can dress the caravan up with vintage props too. Just check out the inside of her – beautifully done, very vintage – loving the Cath Kidston

Lola is fantastic value for money – she costs £49 per hour to hire (min 2 hours) plus a small charge for mileage. For more info on hiring Lola and to read about Laura and all her other vintage goodies check out My Vintage Party. I can’t wait to get some pics of Lola in action at her first wedding!

If you are looking for the perfect vintage headpiece or tiara for your wedding day be sure to check out some of these fabulous vintage creations by accessories designer Flo & Percy.

These are all one off vintage pieces that have been made using original vintage jewellery (from designers like Coro and Lismer and Kramer). Not only will you be safe in the knowledge that no one will ever be wearing the same as you, more importantly these are all completely unique, bespoke and special. Wow they are so beautiful definitely something to keep and pass on to your children! Not sure which one is my favourite though if I had to choose reckon I would go with number 4!

Flo & Percy started making vintage hair accessories in 2005 way before the vintage trend in hair pieces began. Since then they have designed three more collections of vintage inspired pieces and the business has trebled in size, taking on 40 stockists within the UK and Ireland. The talented designer behind the label is Kirstie who has a passion for vintage accessories and has designed for many discerning brides and celebs. I am not surprised that she has been shortlisted for awards for her work – you can vote for her here at the Perfect Wedding Awards

There are so many fabulous pieces that its well worth a look on the Flo & Percy site – from necklaces, bracelets, cuffs, earrings, tiaras and headpieces Flo & Percy have got it all. Just be quick because they’re in demand – I have warned you!

Are you wearing vintage to your wedding? What do you think of these gorgeous vintage bridal pieces? The 1920′s inspired wedding shoot with dresses by Ian Flemming which was a popular post with LMW readers.
