Save the Dates and other lovely piccies

These photos are so romantic and beautifully shot by Adrienne Gunde – it does of course help that the couple are both very good looking!. I picked out these photos as I thought its a great way to ‘Save the Date’ rather than sending traditional cards just take some pics and get some photocards made.

I also had to post a few other pics of the lovely couple – the roses and the balloons – these little touches just work so well. Fantastic photography by Adrienne Gunde check out her blog for the rest of this shoot.

I found these pics via Green Wedding Shoes one of my favourite wedding blogs (its well worth a read if you don’t know about it already).

Weddings and Wellies…. engagement frolics on the farm

I might have grown up in the depths of the countryside but it never crossed my mind to take it all the way and get married on a farm! But it seems that there is a hardcore fan club out there of people that want to get married amongst the cows and the tractors and I’m not knocking that. Infact if these engagement shots are anything to go by its probably a whole lot of fun….

Engagement shots farm wedding

This couple are getting married with ‘Wedding and Wellies’ next year up in Yorkshire (I just looked at the website and it looks terribly civilised not what I imagined at all). The venue is very popular with brides and grooms looking for something a little bit unique and different – which is what this site is all about. Looking forward to seeing the pics from the actual wedding next year.

Well good luck to this lovely couple. If mixing love, marriage and farming is your thing and you are looking for something a little bit quirky then check out the rest of this photoshoot at Andy’s site from Greyeye photography. According to Andy this was one of the best shoots they have ever done – its not every day you get chased by a herd of pigs through a farmyard. I recommend having a look at the Weddings and Wellies site where you can see other real life weddings on the farm and read all the testimonials – there are lots of very happy brides and grooms on there.
