This wedding really struck a chord with me when I saw the first photo on Jay Rowden’s blog. The pub benches decorated with garden flowers, the homemade bunting and garlands in the garden, the bright colours on a summer’s day – it looked so fun, local and personal. A real ‘country’ wedding. Country Fayre for the summer

It’s the English country tea party look, a village fete theme, complete with bunting and garden flowers, relaxed and fun. Hay bales to sit on and the local jazz band playing some tunes, the marquee open and airy and hopefully the sun shining down. To drink, serve your guests Pimms, the perfect thirst quencher for those sunny afternoons, or go for a light summer prosecco.
