This vintage inspired wedding in Worcestershire was sent to me by the bride Laura and I just love all her little personal touches – the Cath Kidston table plan, the homemade favours (mini pots of jam for the men and lavender bags for the ladies), and the wonderful table decorations, the name places, bird cage and the vintage crockery with homemade cupcakes (made by the guests).

Everyone loves having a good old nose at other people’s wedding shots for inspiration and I love these photos taken by wedding photographer, Richard Barley, of Laura’s special day.

Laura who runs a vintage crockery hire company in Northamptonshire loves anything vintage – rumour has it she is just finishing decorating her very own vintage style caravan, Lola, which will be available to hire for celebrations, tea parties and hens. I suppose its no suprise then that Laura (her family and friends) managed to pull off such a lovely themed wedding.

I love this photo of Laura, dressed in a Maggie Sottero dress, and Stuart on the kissing bench outside their wedding venue. Wishing them both the happiness of marriages and thanking Laura for sharing her DIY tips and inspiration.

“The best bits from my day was walking down the aisle and saying my vows to Stuart. Also seeing the fabulous cupcakes our guests put so much effort into and lastly, performing our ‘dance’ at the end of the night (we put together arrange of different songs and made up a dance routine which was hilarious!)”
