Isn’t this a lovely wedding – I really like the colour scheme which is a little bit different from the pastel colours we are used to seeing. The deep purple really compliments her white dress and those tulips look so fresh.

I always like to ask the photographers about the wedding (because I am nosey!) – mainly what they liked about photographing the day and any special touches.
“I particularly loved photographing the bride and groom they were totally relaxed and beaming all day and very comfortable in front of the camera. Special touches were personal things like the mother in law made the cake, their neighbour got out their classic car and drove her to the church… it seemed like everybody contributed something special”.
Don’t you just love it when all the friends and family get involved in making it a special day for the couple? That was one of the best things about my wedding, everyone pulling together to make it an amazing day that we will remember forever.
What do you think about having a purple colour theme? Don’t you think that the bride and bridesmaids look gorgeous together? I am going to be a bridesmaid in May and I need to go bridesmaid dress shopping soon – just not sure where to start (any good ideas send them my way!)
I love the purple colour scheme – which I should since its my colour too! Although my dress is more ivory the purple looks great against it. I went for what I think are the same bridesmaids dresses you had, but in the dessy concorde colour.
The tulips are gorgeous too, my bridesmaids are having tulips, since its spring, with bouvardia & viburnum and im having purple vanda orchids.

Love love love the purple theme! my wedding dress was purple/blue velvet so it’s no secret that I absolutely adore it. It’s proving very popular with our brides for their accessories and invites this year too….very chic and on trend.
