The well-known film quote of “life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get” from the Forrest Gump film is something that you may have heard repeated throughout your life. There is an element of truth to it, but it can also be believed that you can expect certain things to manifest. That often the warning signs are there before anything materialises, and in some cases, you have the power to make the change. So here are a few examples, it may even prompt you to look at things within your life.
Is your marriage in trouble?
Life has a funny way of just ticking on by, and that can often mean we get into routines of life and just crack on like we always have done. But, sometimes the complacency can be causing you more harm, and good and one of the areas it can affect is your marriage. The thing is, if we look hard enough, some of us will be able to identify cracks that are starting to form within our relationships. Identifying is one thing, but then having the courage to take action is quite another. You may be thinking that it is time to call the Family Solicitors. However, there could be things you can do. Talking and identifying there is an issue is a great place to start. Your partner may even agree that they have noticed changes too. We can all take our relationships for granted, but once we know that, it is what we do that can make the difference.
Are you about to lose your job?
Maybe you are struggling in the workplace, and there could be many different reasons why you are heading down a path of losing your job. There will be scenarios and situations that will cause to think this. Review meetings, changes in your targets and goals, and being monitored all the more. You can choose to accept your fate, or you can choose to make the changes necessary to keep your job. Sometimes you may not be getting on with new employees or managers, and this can cause conflict. There may have been restructuring and things that you no longer agree with. The signs are there, but opening your eyes to make the changes or seek out new opportunities before it is too late is down to you.
Are you on a slippery slope to a financial crisis?
The one thing people don’t like discussing or looking into is their finances. The issue can be for many reasons, but often sticking your head in the sand is not the answer. We can all get in a muddle when it comes to our finances. It might be debts that are mounting up. It might be your bills spiralling out of control. It may even be a decrease in income causing you to change your lifestyle and live within your means. However, not doing anything about it could be the worst thing you do.
Sometimes being made aware of the cracks enables you to seal them once and for all.
