Something for the bedroom…

  • July 14, 2009

If you are a bride getting married then I suggest that you point your guests in the direction of this wonderful site, Lulu and Nat, who design the most beautiful linen and bedding. What more could you want than one of their colourful quilts, the love heart pillow cases (which I have!) or the colourful embroidered throws, all made from 200 count indian cotton, and lovingly designed. This duo are cool and stylish which is evident from their quirky designs – the stars, stripes, hearts and union jacks alongside the intricate butterflies. Lulu has previously designed for many big names…

Morgan Davies Bridal Boutique – the best

  • July 14, 2009

I was recommended Morgan Davies in Islington by one of my great friends – I heard that they were absolutely amazing and its true they were. I had an appointment with Annalize, who had come highly recommended and she was fantastic. From the moment I arrived with my mum and maid of honour I felt completely relaxed. I loved the way that she knew all her dresses so well and could instantly see what would suit me (completely not what I had thought). One of the things that I liked about Morgan Davies Bridal is that they stock numerous designers…

Angelina Colarusso – beautiful bridal dresses

  • July 12, 2009

Wow!  I saw this dress and instantly just fell in love with it. I spotted it somewhere on a photographers blog (which I am still trying to locate so that I can publish the photos) – a gorgeous british couple getting married in New York I think. The Italian designer Angelina Colarusso is responsible for this amazing creation. Her dresses are unique as she likes to work with each bride individually to…

One of the things about photography is that it can be relatively expensive, depending on who you choose and often they charge extra on top for all the prints that you want which can start making it run into the thousands. If you are on a tight budget then there are normally…

Honeymoon choices UK and abroad

  • July 8, 2009

The majority of couples choose to jet away straight after their wedding, normally the next day, but we decided to delay ours seeing as we got married so close to Christmas. We wanted to celebrate Christmas and New Year with our families and friends, go back to work for a few weeks and then head off and enjoy ourselves towards the end of January, when it was all cold and bleak and we had a chance to take a breather post wedding. This is going to be the one chance when you can (if you decide that is what you…

Wedding Dresses – finding THE one

  • July 7, 2009

It is true what they say: ‘you will know when you have found the one’ – they’re not just talking about your husband to be (though hopefully that is the case), but THE dress. Its rarely what you imagine yourself in, its often not one that you would even pick out for yourself but when you try it on it just fits perfectly and makes you feel like a million dollars. With my ample breasts I always thought that I would be wearing a pretty empire line dress, most definitely with straps so that I could wear some kind of…
